300 USA dollars a day for board and lodging?
300 USA dollars a day for board and lodging? It is far from being a hotel. It is nothing but a house-office rented by an unworthy woman nicknamed Babydoll. If you come to Colombia, abstain from lodging in Babydoll’s house-office. Do know that you may get the best service from the best hotels in Medellín and for less than 300 USA dollars a day.
Who is Babydoll? Well, you may know all about Babydoll if you search the word SANDGOM in Google, or else, read my posts in this site.
Remember, if you lodge in babydoll's house-office, you would help Babydoll with exploiting poor Medellín women, who get a mean pay for chatting for hours every day.

We ALWAYS recommend using a proven tour company in South America
Over the years many stories like this one about $300 a day for lodging have appeared on this forum. It can happen in any tourist city. And it is why we always recommend using a legitimate tour company like A Foreign Affair (loveme.com) when travelling to foreign countries. Not only will a legitimate company save your from price-gouging but from serious circumstances from criminals who prey upon good people like you.
Whether it is Latin America, Asia, or Europe, use a tour company and avoid having your great experience turn into a nightmare. No matter which service you use, make certain the company has years of experience and most helpfully an office in every city they tour. Last thing, make certain the company has an office in the USA as it's headquarters. These things make a difference, sometime between life and death. No kidding about that; take your travel seriously.
